10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING Three groups with four units in each group. Hover together and then "take off" rapidly. Had comet-like tail. Objects in formation. Like a platter, light compared to dark sky background. Distance unknown, but appeared to be higher than 2 a/c that flew over. Telephone operator at Lakewood received numerous calls from [STAMP:]. [ILLEGIBLE] indicated that large stars visible, small stars not due to haze. Motion included flight from horizon to horizon in a few seconds. No sound. Random movement.
