Targets were believed to be interference from shipborne radars originating on Lake Superior Northern Light visible throughout nightfall.

11. BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS Between 0132 and 0132 a series of targets were sighted on radar set of 635th AOR-So Calumet, Michigan Two plots originated at approx 50 miles from station from 90 deg clockwise to 251 deg Speed was from 180 mph to 300 mph
