[HW:] Balloon White 14-12 traveled at an est speed of 150-200 knots at approx 7,000' qah. Manuevers consisted of dipping several times, flashing on & off, noticeable increase in speed, and disappearing in a S direction. Object was observed by pilot or as [ILLEGIBLE] qah.
[HW:] Weather balloon probably in the area of sighting from Calgary Field Weather Bureau. See Incident folder for full details.
[HW:] Records show balloon released from Calgary Field not Revelstoke at 0902Z Mar but in the clouds after rising to 3,000ft. Could have very easily caused the sighting.
