11. BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS Large rectangular shaped luminous object traveled E to W throughout an arc of 70° to 60° in a straight shallow climb. Object seemed to gain altitude rapidly, slowly fading away. Sound of object was a high pitched hum.

COMMENTS: 1. Object observed by theodolite. Clips too fast (70°/1 min) to be a star. No balloon launches at Sampson AFB.

2. Sampson AFB received ATC TFR and stated that Westbound Boston Airlines flight was in general area at 18:15 EST.
