BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS: Brief report observed through field glasses while observers were watching clouds. Object flew a square pattern over the city before disappearing in the MSF into haze. Observers were to the side of the city. Description of the object by witnesses differed considerably: Witness A: Size 600 ft, color yellow, round; one reported with blunt wings. Witness B: Thought might be a Weather balloon. Size same as a plane at that altitude. Color silver or metallic sheen. Speed was slow, hovering.
CONCLUSION: Possible Balloon.
Erratic motion; one observer thought object a balloon. Color and flight in accord with this evaluation.
