Chilean Navy Reports 7-Inch Flying Saucers SANTIAGO, March 13—The Chilean Navy meteorological observatory at Punta Arenas reported observations on a celestial body seen over the city of Valparaiso. The report was later relayed by the populace to be a flying saucer.
Said the report: "A spherical celestial body, visible to the naked eye, approximately 7 inches in diameter, crossed the sky in an easterly direction."
"The body remained in the sky for about one minute and was estimated height of 18,000 feet, indicating it was a flying saucer."
Reports said the body was seen clearly by thousands of persons.
